The formal dining was all mahogany elegance which has recently been painted to give it a light modern feel. The separate lodge where most guests stay is contemporary in design and added to in the 90s and was used for retreats.

Paddy and John Evans took on the property in 1995 and develop the gardens, at one stage the property had over 70 varieties of roses and was open to the public to view. The Bed and Breakfast hosted many politicians, TV celebrities, weddings, and local events over the years with guest entries still on site today.

Willow Lodge is one of Warkworth's most iconic and interesting stately homes. The original willow trees on the property are no longer here, but the name carries on its story.
